Week One: Indian Beach

Today, myself along with a couple of friends took a trip down to Indian Beach. The tide was higher than usual, but there was still room to walk around. The beach was pretty empty of people, but there was no shortage of sea life and seaweed that had washed up on the shore.

What I found most interesting today was one of the walls along the beach that had some pink graffiti sprayed on it:

The words were recognizable from a Radiohead song that used the same line in its chorus. Admittedly I never really noticed things like this earlier as the last time I went to Indian Beach it was well after sundown. This trip definitely brought new light to this beach.

My trip this time was also a different due to transportation. Usually I walk to the beach, but today I caught a ride in a friend's car due to a lack of time. I feel that the trip is always more memorable when I walk over. It prolongs the trip, but it's worthwhile.

Looking forward to continuing the exploration of Sarasota.

Til next week,
